Brief characteristics :

• This is the first of its kind of device available on the market for the automatic alignment of slow axis of PM (polarized maintaining) fiber.

Accuracy :

• The ER meters measure the extinction ratio with precision of 0.3dB and the alignment angle of fast axis of PM fiber to the connector key with precision of 0.3°.

• The construction of the ER Meter, using it's proprietary mechanical, optical and electronic components, is one of the reasons such excellent results can be achieved.
• In applications where repeated calibration and auto calibration occurs, the ER Meter is flexible so the user can change the inserts, which gives ER-meter a great variety of connector applications such as: FC, SC, LC, MU connectors, both PC and APC style. Any type of insert can be supplied as an accessory to this ER Meter.
• Operation of the ER Meter is done through Personal Computer (PC version) or through the touch screen, where all measured values, including graphs, are displayed.
